Registration Procedures For Returning Players

On-line registration: Register on-line at www.kenoshasoccer.com. There is an additional fee for on-line registration from the company.

KASL has signed with Cybrcollect to handle all returned checks. There will be an additional $35.00 fee charged by Cybrcollect for all returned checks.

Deadlines:

Registration for recreational youth players:

• The deadline for returning teams and/or individuals is the last game of the spring season.
  (If one individual is in charge of the paperwork and misses the deadline, each player is required to pay the late fee.)
• The same deadline applies to players switching teams.
• All requests turned in by the deadline receive priority over any returning player who missed the deadline.
• New teams are formed up until the schedules are prepared.
• Players may register until all roster spots are filled.
• Any returning player missing the last game of the spring season deadline will be required to pay a $25.00 late fee.

• June 25th is the deadline for returning your registration to KASL.
• The select programs will not be turning your forms or fee to KASL. They will not be held responsible for any late fee accessed.
• If you have not received your form or fee back from one of the select programs, please come into the KASL office before the deadline.
• Any returning youth player missing the June 25th deadline will be required to pay a $25.00 late fee.

• June 25th is the deadline for a list of all the players on each individual team.
• June 25th is the deadline for a list of all the players who did not make select.
  (So KASL knows whose eligible for the June 25th deadline listed above)
• The July 1st is the deadline for all registration forms, pictures and fees.
• July 15th is the deadline for all ID cards signed and returned to registrar.
• Each team will be required to pay a $25.00 late fee per offense for each individual youth player who missed the deadlines.

Youth Registration requirements:

• Completed registration form.
• Copy of birth certificate turned in if not already on file.
• One of the payment requirements is met.
  • Full registration fee paid per player.
  • Subsidized form must be completed along with proof of lunch program or food stamps and a minimum payment of $20.00 per player (see subsidized fees below for exact amount due).
  • Payment plan form completed and a minimum payment of $20.00 per player. (KASL will not send out notices, the payment plan you chose is up to you to send in the payment.)
• Complete a player request application if need be.
• Paper clip any of the above information to your registration form (this includes your payment.)

• All coaches must complete the “KASL Coach Registration Form”.
• All coaches and all assistant coaches must complete the “At Risk Management Form”.
• All coaches and all assistant coaches must turn in a copy of their driver’s license. If your signature is covered by a donor sticker please sign your name under the copy of your driver license.
• Turn all the required information in with your team registration and/or individually by the deadline. If all the above is not completed KASL will assume you are not coaching.

• If you register for fall only and wish to continue in the spring you must pay the balance due in full by November 1st in order to remain on your team.
• After November 1st your name is removed from the team roster and the next available player will fill this opening.
• After November 1st you will be charged the full spring registration fee. (Regardless if staying with the same team).
• If you play fall only and then register for next fall you are not eligible to be counted in on the team registration. Regardless if your spot had not been filled in the spring.

• If you are registering for the spring season only you must register after the fall season.
• No spots will be held on a roster for a player who only plays in the spring.
• No guarantee to get back with the team from the previous season.

• Parent's individually drop off the required registration information at:
  1. The KASL office on Saturday’s during game times, Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The office is located at Anderson Park 26th Ave. and 87th Pl. (southwest corner in the building closest to field 5) (do not attempt to mail here)
  2. Mail to KASL 2406 – 14th Street Kenosha, WI 53140 (KASL is not responsible for lost mail).
  3. Have a parent volunteer or coach collect each individual player’s paper clipped packet and turn them in as a team (use one of the above locations). If turning them in as a team, please place all forms into an envelope with team name and the age division you will be coaching.
• If a team envelope is not turned in by the last game of the spring season deadline, all players will be required to pay a $25.00 late fee.

• No request will be considered without a request form completed.
• Form must be stapled to the front of your registration form.
• All forms will only be considered after the registration deadline.
• Request will only be considered if it does not disrupted the balance of players on a team.
• Registration committee has the right to deny any request.

This is a coed league for player’s 18 years old and up. This is a great way to have fun, exercise and learn the soccer skills your children are learning. For inexperienced coaches and spectators what better way to learn and have fun. For experienced coaches and spectators what better way to continue your knowledge by competing with other experienced coaches and players.

Players bring a red and a white T-shirt. Shinguards are mandatory shoes are optional regular tennis shoes or shoes with rubber spikes on the bottom. The games are on Saturday afternoons following the youth games and on Sunday mornings prior to the youth games.

Registration requirements:

• Completed registration form (use same form as the youth)
• Registration fee (listed below)

There are all girls and all boys teams. This is a program for the players with higher skill levels and those players wishing to learn the higher skill level. If your child is looking to continue their play on a high school team and onto college then this is the program for that player. Players are chosen by try-outs and are picked by a committee of trained coaches and volunteers.

• Must attend all try-out dates
• Minimum try-out fee (if needed to cover the cost of the facility use)
• Bring a completed registration form
• Copy of the birth certificate (if new to the KASL program)
• Bring two pictures 1” x 1” with the players name on the back

• Practices no limit as to the days and times: (most coaches during the season only go two days a week for an 1½ each day)
• Travel time for games: (depends on the division and teams in your division, usually approximately 1 hour maximum)
• Travel time for tournaments: (depends on the tournament your coach/team decides on)
• Amount of tournaments per season: (depends on the age division and coach/team)
• Hotels: (depends on the tournament your coach/team chooses, most tournaments are in driving range)

• KASL’s portions as listed below
• One full uniform with an extra jersey incase of color conflicts
• Paid coaches and trainers
• Tournaments
• Some collect to cover indoor
• Etc.

• No coach may exclude any player currently on the team.
• No spots will be held for any player who misses the registration deadline. This includes coach’s and/or assistant coach’s children.
• Do not turn in a registration form for a player not registered to your team in your team packet. If an outside player is stapled or added to your team packet, he/she will automatically be ineligible to join your team.
• If a player’s form was not included in the team packet but he/she turns it in by the deadline; that player is guaranteed their position on the team.
• Any individual found to be withholding someone’s registration form due to personal differences would be brought up on disciplinary charges.
• Any individual trying to skip the late fee by saying they are new players will be sent an invoice for the late fee.
• Players who have a balance due from any previous year are ineligible to participate in KASL until the issue is resolved.
• No team will be scheduled without a coach and teams maybe disbanded if no coach volunteers.
